The Library and Media Center houses over 24,000 volumes, and a dedicated IDEA center (Interactive Digital Engineering & Arts).
The 30,000-square-foot Advanced Learning and Enrichment Center (ALEC) provides state-of-the-art facilities for the entire student body. This building comprises a gymnasium with a theatre-sized performance stage, complete with lighting and audiovisual capabilities; dedicated art, music, and TV production studios; a clinic, and a full-service cafeteria. All of these facilities serve as classroom extensions helping to meet our students’ creative, physical, artistic, developmental, and nutritional needs.
Our outdoor classroom space includes Bermuda grass, regulation sports field, which is well maintained for soccer, football and lacrosse teams. Indoor basketball and volleyball courts allow play in an air-conditioned environment. The gym’s wood floor, made from several grades of North American Rock Maple, is designed to help protect the students from impact injuries. The variety of wood grades gives the floor a tremendous amount of character and the sub-floor structure, with fabricated rubberized cushioning, provides flexibility to help reduce injuries. Multiple playgrounds can be found on the campus for our varied age groups.
Students have access to the most current technology and materials to further develop their talents in the fine arts. The TV Production Studio has the same equipment that might be found in professional studios. From the latest MAC products to broadcast studio cameras, the TV Production Studio experience is enhanced with the latest software so our students have the state-of-the-art experience.
The Music Program benefits from a fully professional, acoustic general music/choral rehearsal room and an instrumental band rehearsal room. These facilities also have multiple practice rooms and a large instrument locker/storage area. The bell choir, string ensemble, concert bands, choruses, keyboard lab, peace drummers, and jazz band all benefit from this amazing facility.
