Unity School is proud to be recognized as an Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE) 2026 School of Distinction. This incredible honor recognizes just 39 exemplary middle schools worldwide for their commitment to providing an outstanding middle school experience and continually looking for ways to improve. These schools represent some of the best practices in middle level education and are helping to lead the way in supporting young adolescents.
The AMLE School of Distinction recognition is based on the principles outlined in The Successful Middle School: This We Believe, which is grounded in more than 50 years of research on middle level education. Through a rigorous evaluation process that included input from our staff, students, and families, Unity demonstrated a strong commitment to these best practices and to continuous growth. We are incredibly proud that Unity is being recognized for the work we do every day to create a school community where young adolescents feel known, supported, challenged, and inspired to belong, grow, and thrive.
